The 15, 000 km country-wide Nano Superdrive by Tata motors with its new plant has reached Mangalore on June 11, Friday.
The drive which started on June 2 will touch 7 cities and will conclude at Mumbai on June 28, Monday, said Srinidhi, event manager, speaking on the occasion.
The ‘Super drive’ branded Tata Nanos was absolute traffic stoppers as they visited prominent landmarks like Urwa Pompie Church Ladyhill, Sulthan Battery and the Kudroli Temple in the city. Shoppers at the city centre mall enjoyed an up-close experience with theNano and its unique features besides games related to the car.
The Nano Superdrive in three car will leave the city on June 12, Saturday with a flag off ceremony at the company’s dealership, Auto Matrix and will proceed to the next destination to Kochi.
Altogather Nine Tata Nanos are circumambulating India on three different routes on an enchanting 26 day long voyage, visiting 36 cities, covering an incredible distance of 15,000 kilometers.
Each route has been named after our tri-colour national flag namely ‘The Saffron Route’, ‘The White Route’ and ‘The Green Route’ keeping with the theme of the country- wide drive. Prospective customers, who participated in an online contest have been given an opportunity to drive on selected routes.
