Mangaluru: Social activist Shashiraj Shetty Kolambe has said that he would be joining the BJP. Speaking to reporters here, he said he was disappointed with the functioning of the ministers of the region who through their false decisions and statements have incited communal feelings and were not living upto the expectations of people.
He said he who worked as an active Congress worker for several years has decided to quit the party.Stating that he had been involved in several agitations as the District Convenor of Samyukta Netravathi Rakshana Samithi, he said the district minister and other ministers had spoken offensively against the social activists fighting for the cause of Netravathi.
He also stated that MP Nalin Kumar who has raised voice against the Yettinahole project has assured to secure justice if the BJP government comes to power.
