Belthangady: Union Minister of Home Affairs, Rajnath Singh is planning to visit Belthangady and Karkala on April 23, disclosed sources close to BJP. His visit will be in relation to the upcoming Karnataka Assembly polls due on May 12.

BJP candidate Harsha Poonja is scheduled to file his nomination papers on April 23 and a public address has been arranged on the same day. Mr. Singh is likely to visit the event to address party loyalists and the voters.

Sources have mentioned that the search for a secure venue and a spot for a helipad are in progress. The news is speculatuve as BJP hasn’t confirmed anything yet.
