Mangaluru: Vedavyas Kamath, the BJP candidate from Mangaluru South Constituency has exuded confidence that he would win the upcoming elections.
Speaking to reporters after filing his nomination on April 23, Monday, he said he would highlight the achievements of the Modi government and failures of the state government. He also claimed that the people of the constituency are hoping for a change.
He thanked BJP National President Amit Shah and State President BS Yeddyurappa for giving him an opportunity to contest.
Stating that the delay in announcing candidate for Mangaluru South would not affect campaigning, he said he would work for the overall development of the constituency if he gets elected.
Party leaders Brijesh Chowta, Roopa D Bangera, Sanjay Prabhu and others were present.
