Mangaluru: Public Works Minister H.D. Revanna on Tuesday visited the former Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, who is undergoing naturopathy treatment at Dharmasthala in Dakshina Kannada district.
Said to be a courtesy call on his way to Mangaluru from Hassan, Mr. Revanna spent about 15 minutes with the former Chief Minister who incidentally was his party colleague once in the Janata Dal (Secular).
Mr. Siddaramaiah joined the Sri Dharmasthala Manjunatheswara Yoga and Nature Cure Hospital at Shanthivana a couple of days ago to undergo a 12-day complete rejuvenation therapy. A team of doctors, guided by Chief Medical Officer of the hospital Prashanth Shetty, is attending on him.
Leaving Hassan in the morning, Mr. Revanna inspected Charmadi Ghat, which bore the brunt of recent heavy rain, en route. He inspected locations where landslips had occurred and discussed steps to be taken to tackle the problem in future.
Belthangady MLA Harish Poonja and others were present.
