Mangaluru : The Dakshina Kannada district unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party staged protest against the statement of Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy for asking the public to rise in revolt against the BJP for trying to destabilise the government.
The protest meeting was organised in front of Deputy Commissioner’s office on Friday, September 21.
Addressing the protestors, Mangaluru North MLA Dr Bharath Y Shetty said, our leaders were assaulted during the protest held outside Yeddyurappa’s residence. I feel this was pre planned by Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy and DK Shivakumar. Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy should apologize for his words because he will soon become former chief minister,Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy has crossed his limits by asking people to revolt against BJP, said Shetty.
Sullia MLA S Angara said, “Coalition government have utterly failed providing good administration to thepeople . All the development works have delayed and they should be ashamed of their administration. Chief Minister should take back his words against BJp”.
District BJP general secretary Capt Brijesh Chowta said, “Since the start of coalition government, there is no development. There is failure in law and order. Coalition government should give strength to the people, they should be ashamed of the way they are ruling the government. Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy should apologize for his words”.
MLA Vedavyas Kamath, Santhosh Rai Boliyar, Annayya Kulal, Chandrahasa Ullal, Chandra Shekar Uchil, Sanjaya Prabhu, Corporator Diwakar Pandeswar and others were present.
