Mangaluru: Two persons sustained injuries in a collision between a gas tanker and a government bus at Kodakkal near Kannur on December 4, Tuesday. The bus collided against the tanker from the rear.

The mishap occurred when the tanker driver who was heading towards Mangaluru from BC Road applied brakes suddenly in order to avert hitting a school vehicle which had taken a sudden turn. The KSRTC bus which hit the tanker from behind was on way to Mangaluru from Dharmasthala.
