Mangalore: The top scoring students of SSLC, PUC, graduate, and post graduate students of the Mangalore Diocese were felicitated during the felicitation programme organized by Fudar Prathishtana, at the Milagres Jubilee Hall on Feb 27, Sunday.
Steven L. D’Souza, the corporate consultant, was the keynote speaker.
Mr. D’Souza  said the felicitation ceremony was held in order to give importance to the higher education and to create awareness of the facilities provided by the government.
Dr. Aloysius Paul D’Souza, the bishop of Mangalore Diocese, presided over the event. Walter Cyril Pinto, the president of the Catholic Sabha, participated as the chief guest.
Around 150 students were honored on the occasion.
