New Delhi : Smriti Irani has maintained a steady lead in Amethi by 35,899. As counting of votes picked up momentum, Rahul Gandhi’s electoral fate went through a see-saw as he trailed for a while behind the BJP’s Smriti Irani. She secured 2,99,001 votes and Rahul Gandhi gained 2,63,102 votes.
