Belthangady: Speaking at Jain Milan special conference called Ratnatraya Nivasa near Kanyadi in the Belthangady Taluk as the chief guest, Ms.Hemavathi V.Heggade praised Belthangady traditional home culture developed in religious, historic and family surrounding over a thousand years now, had won would recognition so far but its original spirit should not melt away before the cyclones of modern events, so that our rural ecology-friendly institutions can form string roots for the growth of new generations to come.
Speaking about spiritual life and realities in modern times, Ms.Hemavathi explained that elders in home have to involve young children in devotional songs, company, worship processes and even lectures so that their mind could be purified under divine inspirations. Idealistic programmes could be drawn up to stir their inner beings towards what is friendly and helpful in the long run. Such events should be extended in due course in all directions, she added.
On the same occasion, a book on Japa –mantras written and edited by a Dharmasthala couple, B.Bhujabali and Shalini, was released.
