Mangaluru : As many as eight persons, including a child, were injured when two cars collided on the Dharmasthala-Subrahmanya state highway at Kaikamba on Wednesday afternoon.

According to sources in the police department, while one of the cars was coming from Subrahmanya, another car was heading towards Dharmasthala.

The injured were rushed to a hospital in Puttur. Both the vehicles got mangled in the accident. A case has been registered in this regard.
