Bengaluru : Honnali BJP MLA, M P Renukacharya, has been appointed as the political secretary to chief minister, B S Yediyurappa.

Renukacharya was an aspirant for the post of the minister. After it became clear that he would not get this post, he had dropped broad hints of revolting against the party.

Now the chief minister has given him a post that is equal to that of cabinet minister.
