Mangalore : Jillu, an accused of forcible conversion by Nithin Poojary, himself has submitted the memorandum to Mangalore Police Commissioner Seemanth Kumar Singh defending him to be innocent on March 10, Thursday.
Advocate and Congress leader Mr. Ivan D’Souza, Jillu and his family in particular, said that the allegations filed against Jillu were false and urged to appoint a special officer to investigate on the issue and reveal the truth.
Mr. Singh has assured that he will take the required action at the earliest.
Ivan D’Souza said that the story of abduction and forcible conversion attempts were made by Nithin in order to take revenge against Jillu for warning him to be regular to his work.
Jillu might have called the boy home to warn and have even hit him, since he was employed at a juice centre belonging to Jillu in Kankanady from 20 days.
Stating that Bajrang Dal activists are aiding Nithin in blowing a simple incident out of proportion, he said..
