Belthangady: MLA Harish Poonja on Wednesday launched Corona throat fluid collection center sponcered by Nirmithi Kendra, Mangalore at the Belthangady Taluk hospital.

As per the guidlines of the district administration, each taluk is given a booth. The Belthangady Taluk hospital also been opened thecorona throat fluid collection center.

Rajendra Kalbawi, director of Nirmitti Kendra said, “Throat fluid extractors have to be coverd with a safety (PPE) kit. However, the throat fluid extractor can stand on the inside to secure the sample of the person standing outside using an easy-to-use device. This will make it easier to maintain the gap between doctor and the patient.
