Udupi : The district reported six coronavirus positive cases on Wednesday May 20, in this total 22 confirmed cases have been reported in Udupi.

The 15-year-old girl and 44-year-old woman are the primary contacts of the first coronavirus casualty of Udupi, two women aged 31 and 47 who travelled from Mumbai to Udupi. Two men aged 55 and 74 who tested positive had also come travelled from Mumbai to Udupi.

All patients were under quarantine and have been admitted to Dr TMA Pai Covid hospital.

So far one person has died due to the infection. Three have recovered, presently there are 18 active Covid-19 cases in the district.
