Mumbai : A senior Advocate appealed his concern to Karnataka chieaf minister and other mlas to revoke the restrictions at Maharastra borders to travel Karnataka. He requested the Karnataka govt. authorities to arrange necessary arrangements for Tulukannadigas to reach their children and families at Karnataka.
Respected Sir
Shri Yediyurrapa,
MP Smt. Shobha Karandelej Udupi, Nalin Kumar Kateel Mp, Dk and all Mlas of Udupi and Dk. On behalf of Mumbai Tulukannadigas who wish to visit their native place this summer vacations can’t do so due to lockdown. There is no train nor bus services available. Many of them are trying to travel either by private vehicles or by hiring contract carriages with their children and families. I request the Karnataka govt. authorities to remove the ban and restrictions at entries in borders (Maharashtra). Though settled in Maharashtra we were born and bought up in Karnataka.
So please permit all Tulukannadigas of Maharashtra to visit native place and join our near and dear families.
Further, I request our dear CM to make facility for bus or train arrangements to travel smoothly to respective destinations. I trust those who travel will follow, obey directions and guidelines set by govt health authorities keeping in mind all precautions
Thanking you in anticipation.
Yours faithfully,
Advocate Morla Rathnakar Shetty, Mumbai
