Udupi : As many as seven females and eleven male including three children have tested positive for coronavirus in Udupi on Sunday May 24.

The district recorded total 18 corona cases on Sunday.

It is said, 13 people have travelled from Maharashtra to Udupi, three have contracted the infection from containment zones. The source of infection of two more people is yet to be ascertained.

All have been shifted to COVID hospitals for treatment.

Hence, in Udupi, 71 confirmed cases of coronavirus have been reported so far in the district, including a death. Three have recovered, and 67 are active.
