Mangaluru : Due to heavy rains that have been pouring continuously from two days a landslip occured at Banglagudde in Gurupur here on Sunday July 5.

Two children have been trapped under debris following a landslide, Locals rushed to the spot and began rescue operations.

The landslip buried the houses that were in the vicinity. Several other houses in the vicinity are said to be in danger. Sources said that the hillock had started giving way right from morning, before collapsing on the house.
