Kadaba: BJP-supported Rajeshwari Kanyamangala and Jayanti R. Gowda have been unanimously elected as the president for the first time after becoming new Taluk Kadaba in the Dakshina Kannada district.

The BJP is at the helm of power based on the number of members. The BJP has also gone on to become vice president without any political upheavals. For the first time in the history of the new Kadaba Taluk Panchayat, women’s beads will come to power.

There are 13 Taluk Panchayat constituencies covering all the 42 villages in the Puttur and Sullia Taluk Panchayat, the new Kadaba taluk came into existence.

After the announcement of Kadaba as a new taluk, there is no departmental offices for public needs, it is alleged.
