Maple: Four children who were working in a fishing harbor have been rescued and handed over to the Child Welfare Committee for rehabilitation.

A total of 4 children have been rescued, including three boys and one girl from the Gadag, Raichur and Bellary districts.

The Labor Department, Social Welfare Department, Public Education Department Udupi, District Child Protection Unit, Police Department Malpe, Child Helpline and Spoorti Confidence Home team operated in the rescue drive.
