Kasargod: A collision between two cars claimed the life of a two-month-old child and Nine others have sustained injuries while the condition of two of them is said to be critical.

The incident occurred on the National Highway at Kumble Arikkady on September 6, Sunday night.

Moosa-Afsa couple from Pachambala Kalpare are the parents of the deceased child. Some of the injured have been admitted to a hospital in Mangaluru while others are receiving treatment at Kumble Hospital.

One of the car was heading towards Bandyodu while the other was proceeding from Uppala.
