Mangalore: A Landslide occurred on the Bypass railway track near Padil in the city at around 1.30 pm on Sunday due to the heavy rainfall.

The soil Slipped at Bypass Railway Tack at Padil. The Konkan Railway service through the bypass on the Mysore route impacted. However, passenger train traffic from Mangalore Junction is not affected.

A special train from Bangalore to KSR will run from Mangalore Junction Railway Station, as usual.
