Mangaluru : The Mangaluru City Corporation officials along with traffic police have stopped people who not wearing masks in public places and fined them on Saturday September 26.

Mangaluru City Corporation health officer Dr Manjayya Shettyled by team and traffic police fined vehicle drivers found not wearing masks.

The officials on Friday had collected Rs 5,000 as fine from people violating the COVID 19 guidelines.

Deputy commissioner of the district, Dr Rajendra K V, had stressed the need to scrupulously follow all the rules like using sanitisers, wearing masks, maintaining social distance etc.
