Bangalore: Congress leader and Union Railways minister of state, K.H Muniayappa declared on Tuesday his party would win all the 3 Assembly by-polls arranged on April 9 in the state.
He told pressmen that Congress could win the Channapatna, Bangarpet and Jagalur re-contests one after another, as people were fed up of BJP and its money power in the form of bribery. He claimed that as seasons change, so the political support of the people returned to Congress.
The 3 polls were necessitated by the resignations of 2 Congress rebels in Jagalur and Bangarpet, and one rebel from JD-S in Channapatna as MLAs.
All 3 parties are fiercely involved in a struggle to capture the 3 constituencies on April 9.
