Kasargod : In an car accident, a health officer lost his life and six others including a doctor suffered injuries at Nileshwar Karuvachery curve on Friday afternoon.

The deceased has been identified as Paul Gletto L Meroki (49) resident of Thrissur and he was a  health inspector at Bedadka taluk hospital.

It is said,   The car had hit a concrete wall that was a part of it which caused the accident.

Junior health inspector Pradeep, hospital assistant surgeon Dr Dinu Gagan, mother of Dinu and two children who were in the car are among those who have been injured in the accident. The injured were shifted to Kannur Medical College Hospital.
