Mangaluru : Dr. Arathi Krishna, former vice president of NRI Forum and a Covid Warrior inaugurated the Mangaluru Dasara celebrations at the Shree Gokarnanatha Temple at Kudroli on Saturday, October 17.

The Mangaluru Dasara celebrations commenced with the installation of the idols of Goddess Sharada, Lord Ganesha and Navadurgas.

Dr Arathi Krishna said, This temple has brought revolutionary changes giving importance to women and widows. Whenever I return to Mangaluru from abroad, I visit the temple and seek God’s blessings. Ever since I was in the US Embassy, had come to seek the blessings of Kudroli Sri Gokarnanatheshwara.

This year, in the wake of Corona’s pandemic, the Mangaluru Dasara will be celebrated under the slogan of “Our Dassara is our safety code.”

Temple Committee President Sairam, Treasurer Padmaraj Karkera, Harikrishna Bantwal and many others were present.
