Kasargod : A farmer lost his life due to electrocution at Ballur Narlaguli in Paivalike on Friday night.

The deceased has been identified as Rafael D’Souza (49).

Rafael had put up electric fencing to his field unable to bear with the menace of wild boars. On Friday night on realising that boars were somewhere nearby, he had gone to his field when he was electrocuted by the fencing. Neighbours rushed to the spot on hearing his cries.

However Rafael was dead by the time they spotted him.
