Mangaluru : CM B S Yediyurappa arrived at Mangaluru International Airport on Wednesday evening to take part in BJP’s special executive meeting scheduled to be held on November 5.
Speaking to reporters CM, Yediyurappa said I have received news from Delhi that Siddaramaiah will be removed as leader of the Opposition. Siddaramaiah should stop making such irresponsible statements. Even I can say that I request Siddaramaiah to not make such a reckless statement.
The executive would be attended by party central leaders D.V. Sadananda Gowda, Pralhad Joshi and C.T. Ravi besides Mr. Yediyurappa, and State unit president Nalin Kumar Kateel. In all, 110 to 120 persons would be attending the meet, a party leader said.
Deputy chief minister Govind M Karjol, revenue minister R Ashok, minister Eshwarappa, Mangaluru South MLA Vedavyas Kamath, state BJP president Nalin Kumar Kateel, Mangaluru North MLA Dr Bharath Y Shetty, district BJP president Sudharshan Moodbidiri, Moodbidiri MLA Umanath Kotian and Puttur MLA Sanjeev Matandoor and others were present.
