Kundapur : Two thiefs from Dharwad have been arrested in connection with several cases of burglaries in houses and temples and have seized valuables worth lakhs of rupees from them.
The arrested are Rajesh Naika alias Raja alias Raju Pamadi (42) and his wife Padma Pamadi (37).
The couple originally hailing from Dharwad stayed at Durganagar in Indrali and were wanted in connection with thefts in Kundapur, Udupi, Manipal, Gangolli and Dharwad.
Police have seized gold weighing 202 grams, silver weighing 1.683 grams and two two-wheelers from them.
Rajesh was once earlier arrested in connection with thefts in Kaup and Manipal and was released on bail in July this year. Po
