Mangaluru : DK District in-charge Minister Kota Srinivasa Poojary witgh BJP MLAs from Dakshina Kannada and Udupi districts met Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa at his office in Bengaluru on December 10, Thursday and submitted a memorandum requesting him to name the Mangaluru International Airport after Tulunadu folk legends Koti Chennaya.

Mangaluru South MLA Vedavyas Kamath, Mangaluru North MLA Bharat Shetty, MLA from Bantwal Rajesh Naik, Belthangady MLA Harish Poonja, Mulki-Moodbidri MLA Umanath Kotian, Puttur MLA Sanjeeva Matandoor, Udupi MLA Raghupathi Bhat and Karkala Legislator Sunil Kumar were part of the delegation.
