Mangaluru : A software hub will be set up on a three acre land at Derebail and that it has already secured the approval and a model IT Park in Mangaluru in memory of Bantwal Ramakrishna Baliga, the first Chairman of KEONICS to set up said KEONICS Chairman Harikrishna Bantwal.
Speaking to reporters here on December 28, Monday, he said a memorandum will submit to Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa.
The vision of Baliga that helped in creation of the Electronic City in Bengaluru and added Baliga’s efforts has gone unrecognised.
Harikrishna further said an IT Park in Mangaluru would ensure job opportunities to nearly 20,000 youngsters of the district and added that this would go a long way in solving the problem of unemployment.
