Mangaluru : The Anti-Corruption Bureau officials raided the residence of Mangaluru City Corporation (MCC) town planning joint director K V Jayaraj on Tuesday February 2.
The raid was carried out at four places including Jayaraj’s residences at Kapikad and Bejai in Mangaluru, father’s residence, Jayaraj’s wife’s quaters in Mahe and his office at MCC building.
The officer is alleged to have assets disproportionate to his income in Mangaluru and Kerala.
The raid was carried out under the guidance ACB SP Bopaiah DySP Prakash, and inspectors Sham Sundar and Gururaj. ACB sleuths of Udupi and Chikkamagaluru also took part in the raid.
