Kasargod :  Five more persons arrested in connection to two jewellery agents kidnapping and looting Rs 14 lac in cash at Manjeshwara recently.

Arrested are identified as Abdul Azeez (27), resident of Pindikai of Bantwal Naringana, Abdul Rauf (26), a resident of Montugoli of Bantwal Naringana, Mohammed Iqbal (27), resident of Montugoli, Mohammed Rizwan (27) and Ranjith Kumar (27).

Abdul Rahman of Kotekar and Nasir of Montugoli were arrested three days ago in connection with this case.

The Manjeshwara Police have got the information that the first and the second accused in the case are residents of K C Road in Talapady. They are absconding at present.

Manjeshwar station officer K P Shine, SI Raghavan, ASI Balachandra, personnel Austin Thambi, Sathish, Praveen and Rajesh are involved in further investigation of the case.
