Belthangady : A woman and her four year old son lost their lives when they were electrocuted while switching on the pump in the pumpshed at Kodandur in Patrame village on May 30, Sunday.

The deceased are Geetha (30) and her child Bhavish. Geetha was the wife of Harish Gowda, a local resident. It is said Geetha had gone to switch on the pump in order to provide water to the cattle.

Dharmasthala Police are investigating the case.
