Mangaluru : Dakshina Kannada district reported 498 new coronavirus cases and fifteen deaths and Udupi reported 123 fresh cases and seven deaths on Thursday, June 24.
A total of 9,95,308 samples have been tested so far, out of which 9,04,649 have turned out to be negative. As many as 702 patients were discharged from hospitals on Thursday.
The district recorded fifteen deaths due to coronavirus on Thursday. The death toll in the district so far stands at 1108.
The district administration has collected Rs 90,15.817 as fine in 73,941 incidents of mask violation.
Udupi
Udupi district recorded 123 new cases on Thursday, taking the total number of cases to 65,809 out of which 1,330 are currently active.
As many as 6,68,238 samples have been tested so far. A total of 209 patients were discharged from hospitals on Thursday.
Coronavirus has claimed 385 lives in the district so far, including seven on Thursday.
Total 3,86,213 people have received the first dose of vaccination, while 1,01,965 have received the second dose.
