Kundapur : Two cousins accidentally drowned in a rivulet near Gantubeelu in Albady village in the taluk on Monday August 23 evening.

The victims of the incident have been identified as Mohan Naik (21), son of the late Kalu Naik residing near Ardi Konchady in Albady village, and Suresh (19), son of Mahabala Naik.

It is said, the both who were engaged in agricultural work and accidentally slipped and drowned in rivulet, when people went searching for them and found footwear near the rivulet. A search in the rivulet was launched and both the bodies were found.

Shankernarayana Police have registered a case.
