Mangaluru : Miscreants damaged a Naga Bana statue at Kodikal  on November 13, Saturday morning. The statue was found thrown apart by some miscreants.

Locals have gathered at the spot and Urwa police are also at the place and are monitoring the situation. City Police Commissioner N Shashi Kumar has also visited the spot.

Vishwa Hindu Parishad and Bajrang Dal have protested and demanded the immediate arrest of the culprits.  After knowing the news, MLA Dr. Bharat Shetty visited the spot and requested the police officers to form a special team and immediatly arrest the offenders. Vishwa Hindu Parishad Sharan pumwell arrived the spot.

It may be recalled here that the Nagana Katte at Kulur was also damaged by miscreants  a few days ago. Six of the 19 Nagana Kallu here were found missing and one was damaged.
