Mangaluru: A railway employee was found dead, on the tracks near the Thokottu overbridge on Monday.

The deceased is V A Vijayan,59, a D group employee and resident of Railway Colony.

He was working at the health unit of the Mangaluru Central Railway. It is suspected that he died after being hit by a train. Sources said that there are possibilities of him committing suicide, as he was booked by the CBI in connection with a fake medical certificate scam, recently. The case is under investigation.
