Mangaluru : Mayor Sudhir Shetty Kannur has said that the works of improving the service bus stand at State Bank area by providing smart amenities would continue and will be completed in three months.

He was speaking after visiting the service bus stand along with Deputy Mayor Sunitha, MLA Vedavyas Kamath and other officers on October 25, Wednesday following complaints from the public regarding the several issues confronting the place.

He said the public had several complaints regarding the city and service bus stands including lack of shelters, lavatories, speed breakers, seating arrangement for passengers etc and added that measures would be taken to solve the problem.

MLA Kamath said the next Smart City meeting would discuss the issues confronting the bus stand and present a project proposal.
