Kasargod : A collision between a private bus and a lorry near Uppala Gate on May 13, Monday morning resulted in injuries to five people including the bus driver.

The mishap occurred when a container lorry tried to overtake another vehicle. The front portion of the bus was badly mangled due to the impact of the collision. The driver who was stuck inside the vehicle was pulled out with great difficulty.

The bus was on way to Kasargod from Talapady while the lorry was proceeding towards Mangaluru.
