Mangaluru : DC and District Election Officer Mullai Mugilan MP granted winning certificate and wished BJP candidate Captain Brijesh Chowta.

Capt Brijesh Chowta, BJP candidate of DK Lok Sabha constituency and Kota Srinivas Poojary the party’s candidate of Udupi-Chikkamagaluru LS constituency, have registered a thumping win.

Capt Brijesh Chowta secured 7,64,132 votes, with 149208 votes lead over Padmaraj R Poojary (614924) of Congress in Dakshina Kannada.

Speaking to reporters, Capt Brijesh Chowta said he would strive to lead Dakshina Kannada on the path of progress under the guidance of elders in the party and under the leadership of PM Narendra Modi.

Meanwhile, Udupi’s victorious candidate Kota Srinivas Poojary said people who wanted to see Modi as the Prime Minister once again, have voted for him and have ensured his victory.
