Mangaluru : A Capacity Building and training program on vigilance administration was inaugurated at Mangalore on 9.8.2024 by Secretary, Central Vigilance Commission P. Daniel along with Mundkur Shyamprasad Kamath MD-MRPL and Ganesh S. Bhat CVO, MRPL. The two-day event hosted by MRPL is being held at Hotel Ocean Pearl Mangalore under the aegis of the Central Vigilance Commission. Rajiv Verma, Director, CVC V. Nandakumar, Director Refinery, BHV Prasad ED Projects and B. Sudarshan ED Refinery of MRPL were among the dignitaries present during the inaugural session of the event.
During the inaugural event, P. Daniel spoke about the birth and evolution of CVC and its approach to handling challenges. He gave a gist of activities being promoted by the commission and stressed the need to share knowledge, evolve and leverage the improvements in technology to mitigate corruption. Shyamprasad Kamath welcomed the gathering, and Ganesh Bhat gave the vote of thanks.
Chief Vigilance officers of many CPSE organisations across the country and Officers of various organisations who are involved with Vigilance activities were present on the occasion along with Group General Managers, senior officers and the organising team of MRPL.
