Mangaluru : The National Institute of Technology Karnataka, Surathkal commenced its Orientation programme for newly admitted BTech students of 2024-2028 batch at NIT Karnataka, Surathkal campus today. The orientation programme will be held upto 31st August 2024. The total number of students admitted for this year is over 1000.

Today’s programme began with a formal welcome address by the Director, Prof.B Ravi, who congratulated all the students and extended a warm welcome to all the students and parents. This was followed by comprehensive presentations by the Director, Deans, and functionaries, providing an overview of the institute.

The Orientation programme is designed to facilitate a seamless transition for new students into the institute’s academic and research environment, ensuring they are well-equipped to excel in their higher education journey.
