Bangalore: The Supreme Court has turned down the appeal of lawyer Srajin Basha against a stay order given by Karnataka High Court for 5 different cases of criminal enquiries connected with CM Yeddyurappa and family members.
This has sent shivers in the dissident group. The SC asked them to get the cases decided in HC itself, and asked HC to finish all work in 6 weeks hence.
The stay order from KHC was obtained on March 29, 2011.
The Supreme Court condemned Basha for carrying the issue to New Delhi, when the KHC is competent to settle the matter. So, the 5 cases have to be decided in 6 weeks now.
