Mangalore, Apr 25: The valedictory ceremony of a week’s youth camp was held at the social welfare unit of Spandana Trust (Regd) at Infant Mary’s Convent on May 3, Tuesday.
Participating as the chief guest, Sr Wilma Pinto, headmistress of St Gerosa Higher Primary School said that, the participants made their best use of the opportunity provided during the camp and inculcated the leadership skills in them.
She also said that, the spandana has organized the best camp for the children to improve their personality development and thinking capacity along with discipline.
Students also shared their opinions with their fellow students.
Renny D’Souza, director of Velored, Bendorewell, organizers like Jayakar, Suresh and Kasturi, and Sr Emma Joseph , head of infant convent were present on the dais.
Sr Evangeline, administrative officer of the social welfare unit of Spandana Trust at Jeppu, welcomed the gathering. Mrs Theertha proposed vote of thanks. Victor Vas, co-ordinator compered the programme.
