Mangalore: The Mangalore City Corporation conducted a footpath encroachment and carried the things in the Civic Tiger, the Red Van on May 24, Tuesday.
The footpath clearance was held near Central Market. The officials carried the vegetable and fruits from the vendors which were creating problems for pedestrians walking through the footpath were evacuated.
Officers present in the red van and police in three vans cleared the footpath at the central market area.  A revenue inspector and health inspector from the city corporation guided for the eviction.
