Mangalore: Deputy Speaker of State Assembly N Yogish Bhat said that Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) will soon introduce sleeper coach buses from Mangalore and Kundapur to Bangalore.
He was speaker to the reporters after visiting the KSRTC bus stand for inspection on Monday, May 30. He also said that as many as 10 buses will be introduced in first phase, six from Mangalore and four from Kundapur.
The state Government has already sanctioned the fund of Rs 3 crore for the up gradation of Mangalore KSRTC bus stand. The work is in progress, but an additional amount of Rs 25 lakh is required for the completion of the work, he added.
He also instructed the officers to respond to passengers problems immediately. Mangalore Division Controller Karumbaiah was present on the occasion.
