Mangalore: The Kanara Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) and the jointly organized a seminar on women entrepreneurship, titled “Stride 2011 – women entrepreneurship – opportunities for women in service and trading enterprise,” at KCCI auditorium on July 7, Thursday.
Inaugurating the event, Ramanath Pradeep, the chairman and managing director of Corporation Bank, Mangalore headquarters the purpose of the seminar is to encourage women entrepreneurs.
Madhura Chatrapathy, the founder of the Association for Women Entrepreneurs of Karnataka, based in Bangalore; Shridharan of the Asian Centre for Entrepreneurial Initiatives; and Sunanda Eswaran, the dean for entrepreneurship and research, WE School in Bangalore participated as the resource persons at the seminar.
KCCI President G. G. Mohandas Prabhu and Vice President Latha R. Kini were present on the occasion.
