Bangalore: The BJP in Karnataka led by CM yeddyurappa who refuses to resign, in spite of ultimatum served on him by elders in Delhi twice (once as soon as he confronted them, and again, by telling him to resign by 5 Pm on Friday), has started the “Channemane game in Aati”(of Tulu nadu) in Bangalore over numbers and actual supporters to keep Yeddyurappa in CM’s position, when things are looking bleak.
Yeddy is resorting to too many tricks to evade a resignation, and deceiving one and all in Party circles in state and at Delhi in this process, by putting fresh conditions and pointing to fresh names for a possible successor, and creating small groups in the “divide and rule” game, of a jackal in the forest of BJP animals.
The high command knows that the outgoing CM has no tangible support in a majority among MLAs, who have come round to ditch him at present. His enemies in state BJP are increasing daily in the process of delay in his resignation, re-scheduled now at 3 PM on Sunday, July 31, crossing Amavasya in Ashadha moth. Reddys have given up Yeddy as their boss now. Each possible MLA leader (CM-to-be) has a group of his own followers here.
