Mangalore: A 30-year-old cattle merchant of Padubidri in Moodigere was shot by unknown person on Aug 6 Saturday at around 3:30 a.m.

The miscreants shot 8 bullets into the stomach, head, and chest of Kalandar, who is in a critical condition at a private hospital in Mangalore.

Kalandar, is a son of the late Abdul Khader and Nafeesa and his family members do not know why Kalandar went to Moodigere.

The Kadri police have registered the case and also contacted the Moodigere police for investigation.
